Steering wheel squeak?

So last night it was nasty and rainy out all day and the temperatures were in low 70s. On the way home I had blasted the A/C in the car resulting in condensation on the inner windshield and the car being super cool inside. Would this lead to a little squeak in the steering wheel this morning? I noticed a bunch of condensation on my car, and it was much cooler out than usual I would say low 70s but I live in Florida so usually it's 80s or 90s but after last night's rainstorm it was a lot cooler out. Could that make a squeaky steering wheel?

Chances are the squeak is caused by the steering shaft where it goes through the firewall. I would use some WD/40 to help stop the noise. I marked with a red arrow where you should apply the oil. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos.

I don't have a video, but I can describe it. It's an intermittent rubber squeak noise like there's tension and it's mainly when I turn the wheel left or right.

Yep, I would use WD40 at the shaft point above.
