Hi,

Sorry for the delay. Does the vehicle restart with no issue? Also, this static noise, does it change at all? Does it change with RPM or putting in gear before it stalls?

Lastly, I have not heard of this type of noise described like this. Can you get a recording of it so we can get on the same page? It could be related but let's try to identify it and then tackle the stalling.

Let me know if you have already changed any parts for the issues. Thanks

I think it's the EGR valve. The car starts for a minute and then cuts out. The noise seems to be coming from EGR valve. Could that make the car do that? My friend sold it to me but it was sitting for 5 years. I'll try to get video.

And yes it starts up every time. Last a little longer when I changed fuel pump. Seems like a lot of people have the same problem with the stealth.

I have never heard the EGR produce a static noise so hearing it will help.

The EGR could cause a stall but more than likely it is the Idle Speed Control motor. I attached the detail of this component for your review.

If possible get a recording of the engine stalling and then a close up of the static noise. Thanks
