Does not start with the key

I can't start it from the ignition with the key. It starts with the key button I press the lock button 4 times and it starts right up. How do I get it to start with the key again?

I am not quite sure what you mean by this but in the diagrams down below I have included the description and operation of the ignition switch system on your vehicle along with the instructions for the removal and installation of the ignition switch in your vehicle. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

I replaced the ignition switch and the truck still doesn't start with key but will start with lock button.

When you try to use the key and it doesn't start is the security light flashing? If so lets try to reset the system. here is a guide to help us:
