Hey, do you have a security system on this vehicle? Any applicable trouble codes? Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections and cables are all good, positive and negative, both ends. For testing, you may have a starter solenoid, fender mounted, under the hood. Looks like the picture. Hopefully on the same side of engine as battery and starter motor. For testing, if you use two screwdrivers, touch the two large brass looking poles with each screwdriver, let the two screwdriver shanks cross and touch each other, the starter motor should crank the engine, if the starter motor--voltage and ground circuit are okay and the engine is not seized. Make sure transmission is in park or neutral and functional parking brake is set. See the smaller terminal, I believe that circuit goes hot with key in the crank position. I believe that circuit also goes through the neutral or clutch switch depending on the transmission. By jumping that solenoid your bypassing everything, but, that does not mean it will start.
