Before I installed a new battery the car had a P0128 code (coolant temperature too cold). After I installed the battery, it started to idle rough, occasionally stall and just not start. I thought it was due to the loose connection at the negative terminal, I lost the bolt to keep it on tight and when I wiggled the cable a bit the problem was solved. Then I finally got a new bolt on and for a couple of days it still idled rough, so I had an auto parts store put it on their code reader. In addition to the P0128 code it now read P2104 and P2112 codes indicating the throttle body was stuck shut. Not having the money at the time to fix it, I waited a few days. I think it looked pretty bad, I couldn't get it cleaned well enough and when I took the air hose off to get to the throttle body carbon fell out. The car began bogging down hard. I replaced the throttle body assembly; I can't get the computer to reset though. The attached video shows what the tachometer is doing after replacement. My foot is slightly on the gas pedal to keep it from stalling.

Hi,

For some reason, the video didn't upload. Could you try again?

As far as the issue, I attached diagnostics for the P 2104. I'm starting with this code because the other code indicates this needs done first.

If you look below, I attached the diagnostics. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Take care,

Joe
