Good morning, I recently just had my car inspected and all that jazz. Passed with no issues, oil change with new filter added as well as brake/rotors. Car was and still seems to running fine. No noises or such. Yesterday morning it stalled on me, no warnings or anything. It started right back up with no real issues, maybe some pull at first but nothing very noticeable. Ran in idle for a while at lunch and no issues going home or coming in today. The one thing I am curious about is that I added two fuel additives a few days prior to getting it looked at and then without remembering added another the day before the stall when I filled the tank with gas. So my question being would those additives cause the car to stall? Possibly thinned out what gas I had in there or something of the sort and caused a misfire leading to the stall? I know it could a multiple of thing but it literally was in the shop two days prior passing all tests and codes. And the stall happened the morning after filling up the tank so maybe it didn't all mix well since it was 60 trip from gas station to home? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello, I'm Danny.

It's possible having three additions of additive could do that. Normally it's one bottle of additive to a full tank of gas. If there were to be any mechanical problem to cause the stall the check engine light would come on.I would just monitor your car and see what happens to see if it stalls again. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
