The SRS light is continuously on. On Autel Scanner received code:
82-15 Internal failure of the front passenger weight sensor (front inner side).

Where should I start troubling shooting?

Sorry for the delay. We work from oldest to newest questions and when you updated this one it shuffled it back to the newest one and the bottom of our list.

As for this issue, it basically tells us to clear the code and then check the code again. If it returns, then we need to replace the sensor.

I am attaching the info below from the manual on this and how to replace it.

If you see that the code is slightly different in numbers but that is typical on SRS codes and different scan tools, so the point is the description is the same which points us to a sensor issue.

Please let us know what you find. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the info. I went under the seat and reseated all connectors and cleared the codes. That seems to have fixed it for now. Thanks.

That is great. Glad you got it taken care of. Clearly a connection issue can cause a failure, so they assume that if the code is active and not clearing that the connectors have not been touched at all.

So, I am glad you reseated them before replacing a sensor. This info will surely help others. Thanks again.
