Hi
When I start up my car for the first time it gives off a loud squealing sound. It goes away soon and rarely does it again when the engine is warm.
Thank you
Jen

Super comon. You might have a loose or warn out belt that just needs adjustment but if its dry cracked or the like just replace it theyre pretty cheap and last a few years
Good luck hope this helps

If the belts are loose even if they are new they will squeal. You can take a short video with your phone and upload them in your repones here, with the engine off check the tension of the belts (engine cold) they should be like a guitar low E string.
