Squeal noise coming from under the hood

It gets worse when the clutch is engaged (standard transmission).

Hello,

This could be a problem with the throw out bearing. This is the bearing that sits of the clutch fork and is used to engage and disengage the clutch disc to the flywheel via the pressure plate. This bearing, when not properly lubricated will make a squealing noise from the transmission area. I have included a link down below for you to go to.
