The clutch has no resistance/pressure when you push down on it and I can't get it to change gears when on.

Hi,

The clutch system is hydraulic. First, I need you to check for leaks. The clutch master cylinder receives fluid from the brake master cylinder. Check the supply tube between the two to make sure there is no issue. See pic 1 below.

If that is good, on the transmission bell housing, you will see where the hydraulic hose goes and mounts to a slave cylinder. The slave is inside the bell housing on this vehicle (see pic 2). So, check to make sure there is no evidence of a leak where the trans and engine bolt together near the bottom of the trans. Also, inspect the line itself as well as the brake fluid level.

Let me know.

Joe

That is likely coming from the slave cylinder. It requires the removal of the transmission to replace. Is this something you plan to do yourself?

Let me know so I can get you the info needed.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

No problem. If you look below, I included the directions for the removal and installation of the transmission and slave cylinder.

All of the directions below are the removal/installation directions. The last two are for the removal/installation of the slave cylinder.

Let me know if this helps. Also, if you do decide to do this, it's the perfect time to replace the clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing. I'm here if you need anything.

Take care,

Joe
