Hello friends,
I need to buy a used or new clock spring but without the turn signal and wipers switch arms. My vehicle comes with cruise and radio steering wheel control. I don't know the OE. Can you please provide me with OEM part number for just the clock spring?
How is the Chinese Clock Spring and where can I find it?

Good morning,

The clock spring is only available with the multi-function switch. It is not available be itself.

I attached a parts description and availability for you.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/suzuki,2004,xl-7,2.7l+v6,1428858,interior,air+bag+clockspring,10480

I do not see the original part number in our information systems.

Thanks a lot.
I will check it out and let you know.
I found online few without the turn signal and wipers switch arms but sellers could not confirm it will fit my vehicle. The new complete assembly is over US$350.00. Can someone recommend trying Chinese Clock spring, and from where I can buy it?

No, I see none listed and besides, I would not want a universal one in my car. The airbag is dependent on that piece which means so is my life.

I would get the assembly.

Thanks Roy for the advice.
You are absolutely right, life is precious. It is not worth having the airbag deployed while driving.
Suzuki is famous in my country but not XL7, meaning it is so hard to find the part in junkyards. Even the local authorized dealer doesn't have the part so I must pay US$600.00 in advance so they can order it from Japan.
I'm afraid to buy one online and turns to be damaged.
I watched some videos on YouTube how to repair a damaged click-spring but not sure if it is worth risk.
I will keep seeking.

The one from rockauto was just over $300.00 and new.

Did you call them to confirm it is for your car?

Always glad to help.

Hi Guys,
For the past two weeks I was searching for a second hand clock spring online as well as in the local market with no success. Fortunately I heard about an electronic technician who can fix it. In a light speed I went to him, saw his workshop and tools, thought why not trying, my clock spring is damaged after all. He did a great job by replacing the inside ribbon, professional soldering and proper assembling for only US$25.00, I am so happy now my airbag light went off, horn, cruise and radio control back to work and the good thing airbag didn't blow in my face. I just wanted to let you know.
