Good morning.

You will need a scan tool that can read live data. You will need to see if the sensor is sending a signal to the PCM.

A code reader will not work. You need an advanced scan tool to read live data.

Do you have a scan tool?

Is the check engine light on?

Okay, if your speedometer is not working and the check engine light is not on, then there is a signal to the PCM. That means your issue is in the dash cluster itself.

It would have to be removed and can be sent out to be repaired.
