After replacing the output speed sensor car will not start

We replaced the speed sensor that goes into the transmission and now the car will try to start but not crank.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a bad sensor that is shorted out which will shut down the PCM, but to be sure unplug the sensor to see if it starts, if so get another sensor to fix the problem.
