Code p0040, ABS and brakes light are on, speedometer not working, where is the VSS located?

VSSv sensor cannot find vehicle speed sensor. i have a new one ready. ABS light is on brake light is on check engine light is on speed sensor code VSS. Speedometer does not work either

Yep, the VSS sensor can make it so the speedometer doesn't work, and it will make the transmission shift funny among other things. here is the location of the sensor in the diagrams below. Here is the transmission revolution sensor and the VSS. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

i have changed the sensor on top of the transmission. It made no difference. I cannot find the other sensor anywhere i have looked extensively.
