Have spark failure on number two cylinder. Have changed the coil and plug on it. Runs fine for a minute then starts missing again. Pull coil and plug and check it plug is wet with fuel. Check for spark and nothing. Put a different coil (old one) on it check for spark. Pretty blue and consistent. Change back to new one and again check for spark, pretty blue and consistent. Reinstall both and fire it up. Runs good for a minute then back to badly. Pull both again and check spark. Nothing. Go through same procedure as above and spark comes back again. Would cause this? Also no codes being thrown. Have also changed injector and checked both with ohm meter perfect 12.5 as also with all other five cylinders. All 12.5 ohms. Input is exactly the same on all six even when misfiring. Anybody have a clue?

I looked up the issues that sensor can cause. Not really what is going on. Runs badly but not a big issue with stalling. Camshaft seems a bit more likely. Only number two cylinder is having issues. Have removed the valve cover now to take a look if it was a problem with the rocker arm popping off the "lifter" as seems to be a regular issue. All good. Camshaft position sensor is my next try. Have to wait until part comes in tomorrow. This is frustrating. Any other ideas anybody?

This is a common issue with the 3.7. Most common cause is the wiring harness gets corrosion on the PCM end and starts causing the coil to cut out. Not hard to repair, pull the battery cable off on the negative side, wait a few minutes and remove the harness from the PCM. Check and see if it has water intrusion or corrosion on the pins. If it does you can use some contact cleaner and a brush to clean it. Reinstall and see if it is still acting up. If it does then moisture may have wicked into the wiring.
