Overhauled engine will not start

My car was engine was done overall and started but lost spark after being switched off. It does not want to start.

I am not sure I understand what the issue is. What does it mean to have the engine done overall? Was it rebuilt and now you have no spark and it doesn't start?

How do you know it doesn't have spark?

Yes it was engine rebuilt, mechanic started the car but suddenly when they have to test drive they car never started again and they say it does not have spark.

Okay. They need to start with checking the crank sensor. This is on the side of the engine and I am wondering if they damaged it or it just failed.
