My clutch pedal often gets stuck or won’t shift into gear, so I have to press the clutch pedal down a few times to shift it into gear. I’m unsure if my driving habits may have worn out the clutch since my previous car was a Volkswagen Jetta with a Manuel transmission and it lasted 135,000 miles until the car got totaled in an accident.

Sounds like you might be having a problem with the master or slave cylinder since you’re saying you need to pump the pedal to get the clutch to work. chances are if that’s the case your clutch might still be okay, it just might need to replace the slave or master cylinder. if you’re not familiar with it there are plenty of shops that can look at it and figure it out pretty quickly. Good luck, hope this helps.
