Smoking somewhere after head gasket repair

I have a 1993 toyota p/u with the 3.0 in it and I just did the headsgaskets and resufaced the heads and adjusted valves and just about everything that ur supposed to do with the job. I fibished the job last night and when I went to start it a min. Later it started smoking. Any idea what it could be?

YOU USED A TORQUE WRENCH?

DID YOU TORQUE THE HEADS IN THE CORRECT TIGHTENING SEQUENCE?

IN "STEPS", IF IT WAS CALLED FOR?

YOU HAD A "REFERENCE" TO WORK BY?
