I've read online that there is a filter for the smog pump but I can't find anything saying if there is one and where it would be. The smog pump is also make an intermittent roaring noise, as if the bearings are going bad. Is the filter the same as the air diverter valve, also, what is the part number for the air diverter valve?

There is a filter but it is part of the air diverter valve. Here is what it looks like in the diagrams below so you can find it. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens. When this valve goes out it can make the air pump make noise.

Is there a filter for the smog/air pump and where would it be. Also, is there a way to repair or clean out a diverter valve or does it have to be replaced?

There is no filter on this system. Basically if there is an issue with the pump then it needs to be replaced.

I am attaching the info below on this info. The diverter valve also should not be cleaned out as it could damage the internal components.

If you have an issue with any of these then we need to replace them.

Please run through this info and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
