My truck will not pass smog check because it shows Not Ready. I have retested twice now with driving over 300 miles each time.

Distance isn't that much of a factor in drive cycles, instead it is a specific cycle that you follow that is intended to set the monitors. The idea behind the "Drive it around some" method is that in theory you will hit all the test points. However, there are times it doesn't work. This is the OE drive cycle process.

Make sure an 8 hour cold soak time is allowed before beginning the drive cycle procedure.
Be sure the fuel tank is at least half full. If a diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration event occurs before or during the drive cycle, multiple drive cycles may be required.

1. Ignition On. Do not crank until the Wait to Start light cycles, or at least 10 seconds, whichever occurs first.
2. Start the engine. Idle in Park or Neutral for 40 seconds.
3. Before continuing, the engine oil temperature must exceed 158°F and the exhaust gas temperature must exceed 320°F.
4. The following outlines the appropriate conditions for running certain OBD monitors that require the engine to be under load
a. Accelerate steadily to third gear and hold at 1,500 RPM for 3 seconds. Accelerate steadily from 35 mph to 65 mph over approximately 15 seconds.
B. Carry out a closed pedal deceleration fuel shut off event without applying the brake for 5 seconds. (IE take your foot off the throttle for 5 seconds)
c. Repeat Step 4.A. And b. 3 times.
D. Drive between 45 mph and 65 mph for 5 mi.

5. Idle the vehicle for 2 minutes in Park or Neutral.
6. Ignition Off.

Try that and see if all of the monitors set.
