Smelling gas

Well for a while I have smelled gas coming from the outside of the car and only after it has been driven and even after it sits for awhile. There's no leak to the extent of a puddle on the ground. Just looks like recently something on top of the gas tank is leaking on to the gas tank under the car but still no leaking to the ground under the car.

Good morning,

Do not drive this car until you have it checked to determine the leak. A fuel leak can become a fire at any time. You do not want to be in the car when that happens.

Take it to a shop and have them check it very closely for the leak and let us know what they find.
