Changed battery on my fob key. Car still won't turn over. Every in the car works. Could it be my security code that needs to be reprogrammed?

Hello,

Can you upload a picture of the small red light that you are mentioning?
It can help us determine what the issue might be.

Did you have starting issue before the battery of the fob was changed?

It is possible to have the security system preventing the start.

Please let me know a little more details.
Thank you.

A triggered immobilizer will cause the electronics to function, but the engine will not start.
Many times, it can be reset by disconnecting the battery.

Let me know what the shop diagnosed.
