Intake gasket replaced by dealer 1500km ago. Looking for cheap repair. Is barsall engine stop leek comparable with aluminum and cast iron?

Hi,

I am not familiar with that product but most are compatible with any engine unless it specifically says it is not. However, if you already have a leak, I doubt this will solve your issue. I have never had any luck with these stop leaks once there is a leak. Usually they help slow a leak down and keep it from expanding as fast as it normally would. The unfortunate thing with leaks is once they start, they can only get worse. It is worth a try but even if it slows or appears to stop the leak, I would start making plans to get it repaired because it will not hold permanently. It is better to get it repaired before it fails again and leaves you stranded.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
