Maybe leaky injectors/regulator.

Would u have anonther info on anonther vehicle well this 03 pt cruiser with a 2.4 engine has a problem shifting in drive or reverse and takes awhile to run and when in route it don't shift or down shift. Also has a humming moter noise and when shift in reverse it stops

Found problem by changing filter and fluid. Clogged filter pumping noise gone. Repaired.
