Left slide door cable snapped on the exterior

The dealer and body shops say that they don't know exactly what part it is until they open the door panel. Can a 2CarPros expert tell me what the exact part is needed to be replaced?

Hello,

This is a common problem with these cars. Here are diagrams which show the levels of the door and the parts that make it work please let me know if you need more. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
