Front windscreen wipers not working

Hi, my rear washer/wiper stopped working during freeze here, which a fuse fixed sometime later. Ten minutes after rear wiper stopped working, the front washer/wiper also stopped working. After rear fuse replaced, when I put front washer on, the rear wiper operates! I have replaced the front washer/wiper fuse, but this makes no difference. The front wiper/washer does not work, and the rear wiper operates when I put the front washer on.

Check/replace the relay. Suspect a faulty wiper switch (arm) sending power to wrong circuit.
