Shutting off while driving

Hi, I have the vehicle listed above k12 March. It started shutting off while diving but turning back on right after. I changed the crank sensor and fuel pump; it is still shutting off. I have noticed it shuts off more when I full gas, it also has touch button installed so when it shuts off while driving it restarts immediately after and cuts off again a minute after. If I pull over and let it cool a little it drives a little distance more. Any help I'm lost and don't know anything about cars.

This is going to be a little difficult just because we don't have a manual on this vehicle, but I imagine you have an emissions system that would be similar to what we have here in the USA. So, if you do then that means we most likely have an issue where the engine is getting too much fuel when the tank is full.

Here is a guide that talks about this in the USA system:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-emission-control-systems-work

Also, this guide talks about the stalling issue but it sounds like you may have the issue above if this is related to the full fuel tank.

So, the way to check this is to monitor the o2 sensor data and see if the engine is running rich when it stalls.

You will need a scan tool to do this. Do you have access to a tool that will monitor the live data?

Let's start with this and see where we go. Thanks

Hi, thank you for the reply. I don't have the tool, but I can carry it to get scanned and will have an idea now what I'm looking at. I thought my brain box was going bad.

Yeah. That sounds like a good plan. Please let us know what they find because I am curious as to what this may be.

Thanks for the update.

This sounds like one of two things, either the ECM power relay is going out, or the IPDM module is bad which is common but to be sure let's do a CAN scan which is the future of automotive repair you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $30.00. Here is a video to show you how and a link to a scanner from Amazon:

and

https://amzn.to/3OpAotj for the scanner

Please run down this guide and report back. Here is the location of the relay (inside the IPDM) and how to change out the IPDM in the diagrams below. It is easy because the IPDM self initializes.
