Shifting gears

My Grand Cherokee Laredo will be driving fine then stop at red light and it will not change gears next day will drive fine, but do not know when it will happen again, there is no warning happens on and off.

Hello,

It sounds like you are low on transmission fluid. I would check the fluid and then if it is dark or burnt smelling I would service the transmission.
