shifting cable unhooked at the steering wheel?

It acts like the shifting cable unhooked at the steering wheel because I know it didn't at the transmission.

Hello,

The shift cable can come off of the bracket on the shift lever side, which will not allow you to shift into any gear. It can also stretch to a point that it does not engage.

I have attached the shift cable replacement as well as the adjustment procedures below.
