So I was driving my vehicle listed above 1500 Denali, with the Badlander upgrade to take my daughter's friend home, which was about. I don't know 10 miles from my house drove back home. Shut The truck off came inside for about 20 minutes left again and drove about another 15 miles to a friend's house. Shut The truck off was off for about 30 minutes. And when I went to go start it again, it would not start. It was displaying service. 4 wheel drive driver assist is reduced. ESC is off shift to park when the vehicle was physically in park, and then it wouldn't shut off completely, it would come right. Right back on by itself, disconnected the battery for thirty minutes and reconnected it. I also hooked up a scan tool, and it was giving me DTC's, for every control module on the vehicle lost a communication. The most frequent one was the U0140 body control module code.
Vehicle had no problem going from running through the gears. But would not physically change out of park, and the system thought that it was still in neutral.
No, recent repairs, modifications or anything like that has been done to the vehicle. Just regular scheduled maintenance, no issues. When driving the truck prior nothing to explain even a little bit as to why it would be okay 1 minute and not the next.

This sounds like the BCM is going bad, but lets disconnect the battery and remove the electrical connectors to check for water damaged/corrosion. Here is the location of the CM so you can check it out, if the connectors look okay, I would get a preprogrammed unit from eBay and install it, here is the location of the BCM so you can check it out. Because of its location water can get to it sometimes and cause damage. Check out the images (below). Please upload an image or short videos in your response.
