Service engine soon light and there is a misfire

So the service engine soon light jumped on a couple days ago and then the indicator light begin to flash on. When I cut the truck on it stays on. Then last night while driving it I hear misfire so all this started happen at once. I am very confused at this point. I just took to Valvoline to have them check my oil and they said I was good to go. I just do not know what do.

First thing is get the engine trouble codes read from the computer module. Then see if either of the codes refer to the engine misfiring, then if so, repair the circuit causing the misfire and you will probably fix the misfire. If you want to post the codes back in here I can tell you what they mean and perhaps a trouble shooting chart for each code.
