Brake fluid level is good, e-brake is not engaged, brake pads replaced within last 10,000 miles. I have read that the issue requires that I change brake module. I am not certain which that is for my SUV. Can you assist?

Good morning,

If you mean the ABS light, there is a fault code stored in the system. It sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor that is out. These videos will help us find the problem.

Please run down these guides and report back.

Most cases it is a wheel speed sensor, but I would not rely on the internet for an answer as diagnostics have to be done to confirm the failure.

The first thing you need to do is have the code identified. You can have that done for free at a parts store. Once you have them, let me know so I can help narrow the area of failure.

Thank you for that answer. I have a code reader, no codes are given by truck. I don't see any ABS light at this time.

Okay, Lets back up.

Which light are you referring to? What color is it and can you upload a picture?

Most code readers will not read ABS codes.
