Hi,

Here is the procedure to replace the belt depending on which engine you have.

Usually, you will find a square hole on the tensioner that is used to relieve tension on the belt. This square hole will normally fit a 3/8 ratchet with no socket on it. So if you get a mid sized 3/8 extension on a ratchet with no socket, you should be able to relieve the tension.

Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks

The motor mount is obstructing this procedure. I'm not able to get to it without removing it. What should I do in this case?

Which engine do you have and I can better assist? However, the mount may be obstructing your ability to do it easily but it can be done. You usually have to fish it out the bottom if the mount is in the way. This is pretty common on front wheel drive vehicles.

Let me know the engine you have and I will see what I can do to help. Thanks
