Serpentine belt replacement

Need to know how to replace broken serpentine belt.

You should have two belts. One for the crank, water pump, and generator. On this belt the generator has the adjustment screw. You will need to bring this most of the way in and get the belt on and then just tighten the screw until you have the proper tension.

The other belt is for the crank, power steering, and A/C compressor. The Power steering pump is the adjustment for this one. You loosen the pump and get the belt on and then pry it back and tighten it.
