Hi,

I changed my rear struts by new one but I kept the self leveling function.
How does this work? What is the cycle to inflate the rear strut? I tried to actuate the level module manually to check the air inflation. The compressor doesn't work more than three seconds. How can I check the leveling module (wiring diagram)? The compressor seems to produce compressed air.
Thanks for helping.

What was the original issue that you replaced the rear struts for?

The fact that the compressor only runs for a few seconds shows that the compressor may the issue.

However, after you installed the struts, did you pressurize the struts to make sure they have a small amount of air in them. This is to make sure the struts are not completely empty when you set the vehicle down. The compressor may not be able to completely fill them.

Below you will see the process to replace them just for your review and then some testing that we need to run through to test the compressor and make sure it is okay. However, if you had a leak then it is possible that the leak caused the compressor to continue to run until it burned up and no longer produces pressure.

Let us know and we can go from there. Thanks
