I changed some wiring inside the van that had caused a spark. I basically fixed a short. Everything worked fine for about 16-20 starts driving etc. By the way my key fob is broken. I have tried jacks to get van started again and after a few drives this happens again everything comes on and works, but no crank and no start! Dealer has a new key fob for me, but I cannot even get there and no locksmith has the old computer to program the key fob. Help please! Thank you

Just to be clear, the engine will not crank or start and you don't have a key? How were you starting the vehicle when the key was not working?

If the key is the issue then we don't have any choice but to get the vehicle to dealer or have them come to you to program the key. Most dealers will not do this so unfortunately the only obvious recourse is to tow the vehicle to the dealer.

However, can you clarify for me how it was starting prior to this?

I am attaching the info below on how to program the keys but as you will see, it requires the scan tool if you don't have any keys left.

Please let us know if you have questions and the info requested. Thanks
