So I can't start my vehicle listed above originally had code p01260 decided to use Forscan to get a better reading and during this time period of about 20 days I finally give up and take it to a diagnostic mechanic shop 700$ later we are right where I began and they too are getting the same codes but they are saying it's in the rke it's code u0100 but from my readings it was u0100 from the EPS module and they replaced my push button start and it fixed a non-communicating ground on a circuit but still they are locked out and can't start the car and I was curious to compare notes only to find that I'm in the hole for 752$ of information I already had to begin with... I might as well bring it home and fix it myself I've changed the transmission by myself and never had this issue. I remember in the past I just replaced the battery, and I believe the load was satisfying all the modules voltage needed to start.

I assume they checked all fuses for the system with the systems on, correct? If so, you can have a bad ground to the PCM or the PCM is dead. Here is a guide to help check the PCM grounds and the wiring diagrams, also check the power inputs as well. Make sure the PCM is disconnected before testing.

U0100 - Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A"

Make sure the EGI relay (main) is working as well. The wiring diagrams show the fuses for the systems as well, make sure they have power on both sides of the fuse. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
