Got P0420 and P0430 codes. Mechanic replaced all 4 sensors and clean out catalytic converter. Check engine light returned. A different mechanic says I have 2 catalytic converters to replace. Saw your video to check if catalytic converter bad, but mechanic insists I need new converters? Is there a second catalytic converter? I don't believe either mechanic checked beyond OBD code reading. Not sure what to do next?

There needs to be a thorough diagnostic test performed to see what caused the converters to go bad. It could be a misfire, physical damage, or rich condition, but regardless of that, a P0420 and P0430 is a nail in the coffin for converters. Plain and simple!

Good evening,

The catalytic converters have to be replaced, period.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/catalytic-converter-replacement

The codes indicate that the precious metals inside are worn out and cannot process the gases anymore.

You cannot clean out catalytic converters. That is a myth.

I attached a picture of the location and the part for you from rock auto.
