Hello,
I am putting a power driver seat from a 2003 Silverado into my 2006 that has manual seats with a rectangular plug with close to 20 pins in it (I'll have to go actually count if needed). It has a large orange battery wire, a ground, black/white, and I think green/white (all other pins are empty). The power seat has a square plug with only Power, ground, and seatbelt wires. My current seat has a seat position sensor. Both trucks have airbags (Mine and donor). Can I make this work without causing Airbag issues?
Thanks,
Fred Conklin

Nope, the seat must have the seat sensor or the airbag light will be one and it will disable the system. Please go over this guide to see what I am talking about.

One more question please: Can I move the position sensor to the other seat? I realize there will be some fabrication required.

I believe so, yo will need to take the seats apart to install the sensor/wiring etc, here is the wiring diagrams for the system and how to take the seat apart. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
