Developed coolant leak at rear top of engine. I removed battery box and enough cables and hoses to see/touch coolant outlet manifold box on rear of engine by thermostat. Removed coolant outlet and found torn seal shaped like D inside to match opening in engine block. Did not find flexible sealant or gasket around outside of outlet where it bolted to engine face. Replaced internal seal with OEM and reinstalled. Outlet not water tight and leaks badly by bottom bolts. Tried again with new third party that was a full edge gasket plus internal "D" seal. Still leaks as bad at engine face on bottom of outlet. How best to get it to seal?
