2008 Scion xB finding mechanic to check auto before purchas

I was wondering if this website knows of a service (nationwide) that offers mechanics to go and inspect an auto/truck before purchasing to be more certain that the vehicle described is actually in as good a shape or that there aren't any 'hidden' problems.

Hello,

I don't know of anyone Nation Wide, however, you can take it to any garage and they can check it our for you. But they will only be able to tell you the present condition of the vehicle. They should be able to give you an idea of some problems that will be up and coming due to the milage. But since it has less than 12K on it I would think there will be any major problem, but that would also depend on the present owner and there driving habits.
