Hi, I recently got a large subwoofer for my vue, it weighs around 100 pounds and I was wondering if the extra weight in the back is gonna make a significant difference in my gas mileage, in other words is it really worth it to have some bass???

Hi there,

Well 100 Lb (45Kg's) of dead weight is not ideal as extra weight does count in the long run. It will not make a huge difference in economy, but if you do decide to fit the monster woof... keep it in the center and not to one side as the weight will be better distributed that way.

Any reduction inLBS means a leaner meaner machine...But I'm not sure 100 lbs will make a ton of difference! I will say you may find more cops willing to write you a ticket! For anything they can think of....
