2004 Saturn Vue ignition,fuel, emissions light{malfunction

Its acting like its lost power and like its firing on three cylinders. I have changed the plugs but it did not help. I did although try dropping the catalytic converter and it seemed to help a good bit. Oh and the malfunction indicator lamp sometimes blinks.

If dropping the cat helped it to run better then i would i go to a exhaust shop when it was running bad and have them do a back pressure test on your car.I would also go to a auto part's store like auto zone and have them read your code's.
