The Throttlce Plate in my 2003 saturn vue is clicking. i applied lubricant to the throttle plate but it didnt help. what could be the problem

When is the throttle plate clicking?

when you turn the key to the on position it clicks. and it has reduced power on the dash

The Reason your throttle plate click's is because you have a throttle by wire so when you turn the key on the throttle plate goes threw a calibration when you turn the key on.Go to a auto part's store like auto zone and have them scan your car for code's and let me know which number's you have.
