We had a diagnostic done and it said the anti theft was the problem so we changed the ignition switch and the lock cylinder (which was bad). It still won't start and the security dash light stays on for a while then goes off. Is there some sort of reset for the anti theft we're missing?

The new key will need to be coded to the car from the dealer before installation. If you did that then try this guide it will show you how to reset the system. https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system and
