2002 Saturn Vue thrown rod bearing

please tell if it's possible to have an oil change one day and have a thrown rod bearing the next with only about 15 mls driven. or could something else have happen to my car. it was running nice and quiet before oil change?

Hi there,

Yes these things do happen, it may be a case of bad timing, the only factor that may cause concern is if the engine had little or no oil, replaced after it was drained.
