Noises problem
2002 Saturn Vue 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

Anytime I turn, accelerate, or decelerate there is a clanking sound coming from the front drivers side of the car somewhere around the wheel-well or CVjoints. It only happens when I am driving at speeds under around 30mph. When at higer speeds no unusual sounds even during sudden deceleration or acceleration. Ive done some crawling around under the car to look for anything that might be loose or broken, but was unable to see any visual ques to what might be wrong.

Thank You

Have you taken a good close look at the outboard drive axle joints? With the vehicle in park, jack up one wheel at a time and turn the wheel back and forth. If the wheel turns at all before it turns the axle, you have a bad CV joint.
