Electrical problem
2001 Saturn Station Wagon Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Saturn Station Wagon, L series. Made a "clunk" sound and battery light came on. A/C is now blowing hot air. Can't see the belt to see if it is broken or loose but wouldn't the power steering be hard if it were broken or loose? Not sure how this donation thing works. If I donate does the person that helps me get the money?

Yes, the donation will go toward the technician on-hand that is assisting you.

It definitely seems like the drive belt may have broken on your vehicle. It depends on which engine you have as to wether or not there are more than one drive belt to go around the accessories. For example, the 2.2L has a belt around the crankshaft, A/C and alternator separate from the power steering.
