My daughters Saturn died while she was driving on the highway. My attempts to restart it were unsucessful. I brought it home charged the battery but it would not take the charge. I had the battery checkeg and found it was bad. I replaced the battery. The car wiould the start but only run a few seconds at a idle. I felt it was a fuel problem. I changed the fuel pump ( a used one ), the car started and ran well for the rest of the day. The next morning it would not start and again would only idle briefly then die. I have since got it to run above an idle but it again dies like it is starved fir fuel. The check engine light is now on as is the service engine soon light. If I could afford a donation I would gladly give it. However my daughter is a single mother of three and our finances are stressed. If someone can help us it would be greatly appreciated.
