Interior problem
1998 Saturn SL2

Hey guys my drivers side window lever on my 98 SL2 seems stripped. Every time I turn the lever it just spins. How do I fix it?

Also,

Horn doesnt work. Checked the fuse, the fuse is fine. Wiring problems I guess?

Thanks for your time!

U will have to figure out if ur crank is stripped or ur regulator is stripped u will have to remove ur crank. To remove ur crank u need a 90 degree pick push on the door panel in and u will need to find the closed end of the clip. Then put the pick under the clip pull it off. Remove the clip get a pair of vise grips carefully lock them on and use it as a crank. Now u can see if the regulator is stripped and make sure it isnt all bound up. Let me know on that one. Now to ur horn u said ur fuse is good.U will need to remove ur driverside headlight assembley the horn is underneath it. Remove the verticle bolts holding it in remove the headlight u will need a test light or volt meter now. Unplug the horn look at the connector it will be labeled a b c.A will be power all the time thats the wire from ur fuse.B will be the ground trigger from ur horn switch meaning it will become ground only when u press the horn button.C will be gorund all the time. Let me know what u find there.

So the window shaft turns but the window goes no where? To replace the regulator u have to remove the inner door panel there are some visible screws u have to remove u can remove the door lock switch with a pocket screwdriver if u have power locks if not same way to remove the plastic filler where the switch would be. Then u can reach the lock rods etc to take them off. Remove the release handle then slide the door panel straight up its hooked on to the door frame. Theres a plastic water barrier peel that gentle out of the way carefull not to tear it u will need to put it back on. What postion is the window in hopefull its not all the way up u will need to remove the window from regulator. If its all the way up push down on the window while ur cranking it down it should go down that way. Then u will see two plastic white clips holding the window in place.U will see the plastic tab holding the window in place push the tabs in that are facing towards the front of the car while sliding the regulator rail towards the front of the car. Now the window is release pull the window out. Now theres 4 torex 40 bolts holding the regulator just loosen them and the regulator will slide up and out. There u go put the new regulator in and u good to go. Let me know how it goes. Also if u have a habor frieght up where u live they have test lights and multimeters there cheap. Let me know how the regulator goes and when ur ready to check out ur horn.
